The pleating around the brim of this bonnet looks like c 1880s to me because that\'s the type of box pleat they would put in the hem of the skirts. The shape of the bonnet could be c1880s. Usually this shape is more in winter bonnets I\'ve seen. It could either be 1880s or it\'s a folk bonnet.
