Timberland x Off White Virgil Abloh Black Velvet DS sz 7.5 。The Timberland x Off-White capsule collection was a highly anticipated collaboration designed by the late Virgil Abloh, originally released on March 8, 2018. The partnership completely reimagined Timberland\'s utilitarian heritage through a high-fashion lens: Key Concept & Materials * Material Twist: Abloh swapped out Timberland\'s traditional rugged nubuck leather for a luxurious, plush velvet upper, creating a striking contrast between streetwear utility and high-end luxury. * The Colorways: The collection dropped in four distinct colorways: classic wheat, neon lime green, bright orange, and the sleek all-black version featured. * Signature Details: While keeping the iconic silhouette intact, the boots feature subtle Off-White geometric branding debossed on the medial sides, co-branded hangtags, and four interchangeable sets of laces (including the classic yellow/orange rope laces). Premium Specs & Retail Value * Upgraded Hardware: Unlike standard boots, this collaboration swapped the standard outsole for a heavy-duty Vibram® rubber lug sole. * Weatherproof Design: Despite the delicate look of velveteen, the boots were built with fully functional waterproof membranes and 400 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation. [ * Pricing: The retail price at launch was exceptionally high at $935 USD, dropping exclusively at select luxury boutiques like SSENSE and flagship Off-White stores.
