Large Vintage Handmade Leather Brass Travel Studded French 。Rich honey brown leather belt embellished with French, Algerian and Moroccan coins, which are plated in brass and bronze. Handmade, likely in Algeria or Morocco in the late 1980s - early 1990s. A fabulous spin on the medallion / concho belt look! Finished with a brass buckle. Wear with jeans or style it low slung over a dress with boots. Each of the twenty coins affixed to the belt with a stud is real currency (no longer in circulation). Scroll down for specifics! SIZE: The leather section alone measures 40 3/4” long. The buckle adds an additional 1 7/8” L (and is 2 1/8” W). Belt fits 33” - 39”. NOTE: Keep in mind that your waist when wearing clothes, e.g., pants with belt loops, is larger than your natural waist! CONDITION: The belt is both gorgeous and fully functional with some of the expected signs of age and use. Photo #8 shows some vertigris on one coin (some hidden underneath coins as well). Photos #9 & #10 show some wear to section of the belt that is buckled - however, the leather is still sound and there are no breaks. Photos #11 & #12 show that one coin is missing.
