Vintage 1970s Jack McConnell Feather Hat Wide Brim Red 。This beautiful beige felt hat has a most interesting conical crown, which is also indented. the crown is surrounded by gold colored feathers and at the from there are 2 wired curls covered in the same felt, and decorated with tiny brown and gold \"flowers\". Around the crown there is a wide matching satiny band. The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war and on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The only items not rationed were hat materials.
