Vintage purple ab rhinestone brooch with fire opal art glass 。Striking vintage red faceted glass brooch from the 1950s featuring a large open-back ruby red glass stone framed by textured antique gold tone leaves. The bold oval center stone is prong set and beautifully faceted, allowing light to pass through and create rich depth of color. Intricately detailed gold tone leaf elements surround the center stone in a dimensional wreath-style design, giving this brooch strong mid-century character and elegance. Its dramatic color and classic styling make it perfect for adding a statement to jackets, sweaters, scarves, hats, or dresses. Measuring approximately 2 1/8 inches in length and width, this brooch offers a substantial presence while remaining easy to wear. Unsigned, but crafted in the style of quality 1950s costume jewelry. Good pre-owned vintage condition with normal age-appropriate wear. Center stone is secure in prong setting. Some wear may be visible under magnification. Clasp functions well.
